How to Play Music in the Studio
Learn how to safely play music wirelessly through our studio speaker system using the WiiM app (Studio 2A & 2B).
Note: Studio 1 uses regular Bluetooth or aux connection to the speaker.
Important
Do NOT touch or unplug the studio's speaker, receiver, or any audio cables. For Studio 2A & 2B, all music is played wirelessly through the WiiM app.
Step-by-Step Setup
Follow these simple steps to get your music playing
Connect to Studio Wi-Fi
Make sure you are connected to our studio Wi-Fi network
- Network: The Collective Studio
- Password: [Contact studio for password]
Download the WiiM Home App
Get the free WiiM Home app from your device's app store
- Available on iOS App Store
- Available on Google Play Store
- Compatible with most smartphones and tablets
Find Your Studio
Open the app and look for your studio's device
- Device name: Studio 2A or Studio 2B
- The device will appear automatically when on the correct Wi-Fi
- May take a few seconds to appear
Connect and Play
Tap to connect and start playing your music
- Select the studio device from the app
- Choose your music source (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.)
- Adjust volume from your phone
- Disconnect when finished - system will idle automatically

Keep your phone's volume around 70% for the best audio experience
Do Not Touch Equipment
Do not adjust any knobs or buttons on the physical speaker or receiver
Connection Issues?
If the speaker doesn't appear, double-check that you're on the correct Wi-Fi network
